We have two stores in the Greater Toronto Area.  Our original location is in trendy downtown Oakville, and we've just opened our second store in Toronto.  We’re the only specialty store with an in-house, authorized espresso machine repair service in the Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington, Milton, Etobicoke, Toronto and Hamilton areas, though customers come to us from all over!

As well as supplying and servicing espresso machines, we also carry an extensive selection of the best espresso beans (the key to great coffee).

My name is Redi Ionica and I’ve been involved in the specialty coffee business since 1993. I was one of the founding partners of Saeco Ontario Ltd and have had a love for outstanding espresso ever since.

Because of my technical background as an aeronautical engineer and former Air Force/Commercial pilot, I thought that understanding the complexity of the machines was the most important thing in this business…..I was wrong.  Now I realize that the espresso coffee beans are the other half of the secret to getting the true Italian aroma and awesome aftertaste, and they are still well underrated.

That’s why I founded la strada, to match the finest espresso machines with the finest beans, so that you can enjoy great espresso, the way it should be enjoyed.  Like I mentioned above, we carry a large range of espresso machines and coffee beans in the store, so come down and try them out.
