The Francis Francis X7 has a unique, two-stage process: hot water is injected into a chamber where it infuses the coffee grounds until the ideal pressure is reached, then a valve opens, and a jet of pure espresso flows out. It tastes as good as it looks.

Please note the new improved X1 is a pod coffee model only, however the improvements to the X1 machine create stunning results. Sturdy and easy to use, the X1 makes excellent coffee using the "Easy Espresso System" pods adapter. The hot water dispenser for tea, and the steam nozzle for heating/frothing milk for cappuccinos are also very easy to use. You can even warm your cups on the top of the X1.
The body of the X1 coloured machines are made of metal treated by cataforesis (rust proofing). The exception being the stainless steel machine, which is totally made and finished with stainless steel.
The X1 now uses a brass boiler - an improvement for heat retention over the aluminium most commonly used on the newer traditional machines. Some people believe that when you buy an X1 you buy it for life.

The Francis Francis X5 Espresso Machine features an angular, sloping body. The X5 is the very latest espresso machine designed by Italian architect Lucca Trazzi for Francis Francis! Designed to take up less counter-space, this state-of-the-art machine has a durable and easy to clean steel body with baked-on powdered epoxy finish.
The X5 is a pump-driven machine with a brass boiler to maintain the perfect temperature for making restaurant-like espresso and two quality brass brewing handles (portafilters) which can be used with Illy E.S.E. pods or ground coffee.
The ground handle for the ground coffee includes both one and two cup filters. The side arm with built-in milk frother delivers plenty of dry steam making the frothing process very easy.

The X6 features an 18-bar pressure pump and unique Trio Technology that makes three espresso preparations: short (ristretto), normal (espresso) and long (espresso lungo). Simply rotate the handle (filter holder) to choose your desired preparation.
